Jean-Pierre Azar (a.k.a Jaypieezar) is born on September 5th 1998 in Montreal, Canada. The interest for music started at a very young age by first playing the piano. When high school started, he discovered his passion for dance music when he first listened to legendary artists like David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Skrillex and Tiësto. His first DJ controller was given to him by his parents after a family trip in Florida. At the time, occasional gigs at his high school and some teen parties were the main focus for him.

In 2023, the "Jaypieezar" project finally started after several setbacks and after doing some unofficial bootlegs and remixes between 2019 and 2021. The first original track that got released in May started as an creative idea using sounds and surroundings of the subway network of Toronto, Ontario on a field trip. The result that came out of those recording sessions is what "Terminal Station" became today. So far, the song itself has amassed over 42.000 streams and has garnished some local support ever since it's release!
