Like the many art-punk bands of early to mid 1990's, Tiger 100 was a white-hot flame that burned out too soon and left very little behind in the charred remains; a dozen or so home-dubbed demos, tapes and a few hundred colored 7" records lay buried in the mountains of broken equipment, broken relationships and broken promises. Over 18 months, we spent hours practicing every night to play a handful of small shows for almost no money, but that was beside the point. There was only one goal-- be a band that inspired others to start a band. Who knows if we accomplished that, but we'd like to think there were some positive memories for the few thousand who heard and saw us play. It's the tale that's all too familiar for far too many bands that might've been. What the fuck are you gonna do about it? Re-invent yourself and start the whole sick process over again? You bet.
