From early rave days to international club phenomenon, Seb Zito’s rise up the electronic music ranks began in the hustle and bustle of London’s pirate radio scene. An integral part of Enzo Siragusa’s Fuse family since the party’s inception, Seb has established himself as one of the UK’s best-loved talents thanks to iconic productions on Fuse, Kaoz Theory and many more besides. Now, 2021 looks set to be a career milestone with the release of his debut album Truth In My Steps, out on Eats Everything’s Edible this April.

With a well-travelled history already under his belt, Truth In My Steps represents a culmination of all Seb’s musical influences. Be it the two-step flavours of 2am Lover that represent his early dancefloor days, or the minimal-toned Charlies Gaff that highlights his signature dubby sound, Seb’s maiden album acts as a handbook for all his past experiences, giving us an insight into the scenes and cultures that have moulded his style into what it is today.

Eats Everything’s Edible has been at the forefront of contemporary house and techno since its inception seven years ago. Early releases from Lord Leopard and Lauren Lane were pivotal in helping shape the label’s sound, paving the way for the likes of Alex Virgo, Paul Woolford, Dance System and many others in recent years and creating the perfect platform for this debut album from Seb.

"Klangmeer," translating to "Ocean of Sound" in German, encapsulates the essence of his artistic vision – a vast, immersive auditory experience that transcends conventional boundaries.

In his early 20s, Klangmeer found his passion in the intricate artistry of vinyl, where he honed his skills as a dedicated house and funk DJ. His commitment to the craft was evident through his investment in two Technics turntables, marking the inception of a lifelong affair with music. However, the evolution of the industry, marked by the imposition of costly CDs, led him to a temporary hiatus.

Now, rekindled as a bedroom DJ and producer, Klangmeer has resurfaced with newfound fervor. He passionately delves into the realms of house, funk, and techno, skillfully crafting his own compositions while embracing the complexities of orchestral arrangement. His musical odyssey is not merely confined to beats and rhythms; he endeavors to merge the enchantment of classical instruments – strings, piano, and more – with the pulsating magic of rhythm, giving birth to a unique genre: orchestral house.

It is crucial to recognize that the tracks meticulously chosen for his 30-minute mix were not only curated but composed, produced, and masterfully honed by our esteemed colleague, DJ Sinjin Von Richtofen (@djsinjin). Klangmeer's discerning taste and artistic brilliance are evident in this carefully curated selection, serving as a testament to his impeccable musical discernment.

Ben Spalding and Dan Ros share their next release to the world showcasing a sound design that's strongly focused on hypnotic, creeping, gritty, trippy warehouse rave-inspired electronic music - the highly original end creation diving somewhere between the darker realm of offbeat, almost cinematic Minimal Tech House.

A tireless studio collaboration back in 2021, which kicked off with their lauded Winter 2022 remix of ‘Carl’s Groove.’ The initial collaboration unexpectedly spawned into nearly ten rave cuts in the works that have proceeded to attract forthcoming remixes from German live act Christian Burkhardt, among others.

The original mix sees Dan and Ben flexing their creative muscle to produce a playful, deep, and engaging cut. An assault of highly provocative vocal clips from one of Ben’s favourite films unfolds throughout the arrangement. Spalding’s trademark penchant for composing unusual, weird, and suspenseful arrangements gives ‘NO SLEEP’ its unique character in perfect marriage with Dan’s passion for powerful groove. Hefty lo-end combines to spectacular effect with deep undulating bass tones, while an extended breakdown leads into an explosive second half.

Fabric Club (London) regular Jake Beautyman was specifically brought in for remix duties to create a higher energy cut and delivered in absolute perfection. Jake strips away the raucous drums and adds more organic sounding percussion, while the groaning low end remains intact. Mysterious sounding sci-fi effects add to the nuanced atmosphere of this rolling remix. Jake’s musicality shines through, as he unleashes a simple, yet highly effective melody during the breakdown with the wildest of chord stabs slicing immaculately through the sleazy lo-end.

After four relentless years, this is the last release on PuzzleProjectsMusic until 2024.
