Awhile ago this song came about right before i started working on the song "Señales"
I had pitched this track to a few labels and one person really gave way to the track to a degree where i felt that hitting up a label at all just wasn't for me. I was just going to be burdened with this strong desire to make music and throw it into the wind hoping someone would find me one day. My will to work and my fear of not being able to work clash clandestinely from track to track up until i met this quote by Abloh. 
When you find someone who is a philosopher as well as an artist like only our time can produce, you'll know the feeling. It's like finding clean water while being lost and dehydrated inside Chernobyl. 

I decided to release this song and dedicate it to Mr. Abloh for everything he's done for me and the fledgling visual artist, the psuedo dj, and especially the kid in the back of class bangin on his desk to whatever's in his head.

Cause all of those people were me.
Hell, they're probably even you,
and I hope you never lose sight of who you are because you can meet some really beautiful people that way.

Ngl i made this song during the ‘Despierta’ Era… but at this point i gotta admit, i make so many songs there are probably songs you’re just never gonna hear that I love wayyy too much to just give them away to you.

P.S. the picture is of my very first desk setup when i decided to start to make the “jaytea” project come to life… that’s where i wrote tracks like “bounce,” “tapioca” and “on me” 🤙
