Hany is a German producer set to release a sprawling record on Too Rough 4 Radio. The release features a number of tracks which transcend style and genre, weaving between jungle, breaks, fast paced house and techno.

It’s Goddard’s ability to explore a wide range of genres and tempos whilst maintaining an authentically personal sound that is particularly special. Whether it’s the slow ambient motions inspired by the likes of Boards of Canada or the rattling breakbeat workouts imbued with the spirit of the nineties U.K underground, this northern powerhouse delivers a deeply immersive sound design to be utilised in the club and for home listening. His latest work has been manifested in the form of the ‘Balloon Tree Road’, an LP set for release on Oath.

Following Mercia’s first official release and remix of I Still want in 2021, the Coventry based artist offers a full EP which consists of 5 pieces which explore and reflect his home town within the setting of breakbeat and UK bass. 6am starts off the exploration with ethereal atmospheres and lush piano before exploding into a full bodied breaks journey. 95 Bones’ remix follows this with a club ready acetate driven flip of the original which continues the story. The title track City Of Villains and Kiddah remix adds further spark to the package with a searing sub bass which is riddled with deep energy a syncopated reese bassline sharp breaks and shining accents before the EP is rounded off by the bubbling and energetic Hill Cross Flyover which closes out this journey channeling how we've all been feeling this past year waiting for the return of the dance; it carries Strictly Rhythm influence and a prescient vocal motif.

Awhile ago this song came about right before i started working on the song "Señales"
I had pitched this track to a few labels and one person really gave way to the track to a degree where i felt that hitting up a label at all just wasn't for me. I was just going to be burdened with this strong desire to make music and throw it into the wind hoping someone would find me one day. My will to work and my fear of not being able to work clash clandestinely from track to track up until i met this quote by Abloh. 
When you find someone who is a philosopher as well as an artist like only our time can produce, you'll know the feeling. It's like finding clean water while being lost and dehydrated inside Chernobyl. 

I decided to release this song and dedicate it to Mr. Abloh for everything he's done for me and the fledgling visual artist, the psuedo dj, and especially the kid in the back of class bangin on his desk to whatever's in his head.

Cause all of those people were me.
Hell, they're probably even you,
and I hope you never lose sight of who you are because you can meet some really beautiful people that way.
