I wrote the second half of this song three years ago. Last year, my mother had a heart attack. She is now fully recovered. I went through some many emotions during that time, and one day I went back to that reference and bursted into tears because my mother really put her heart on the line for my siblings and me. In return, I put my heart into this song as she heart into me. This one is for you momma. I love you til the end of time❤️🙏🏾.

A message for anyone dealing with grief,

I know it’s hard to process going without something you love for a long time. See it as them finally being freed from all of the burdens this physical world has placed onto them. You are not alone. They are still by your side every step of the way. Through memories and spirit. It’s okay to cry tears of joy looking back on all the good times, but they wouldn’t want you to be sad about them leaving. At the end of it all, y’all will meet again when it’s your time to go.
