Okan is of Turkish heritage and grew up in Cologne Germany where he is located to this day. Growing up Okan was exposed to sounds spanning pop, breaks, dance and hip hop music before being introduced to that 90s house sound emanating out of Detroit, Chicago and New York. His career spans back to the late 90s where he and his friends threw small parties in Germany. You can hear how growing up through this era influenced his sound as he winds through a set with a mixture of classic sounding 90s house and new productions which have that classic feel!

Okan has been a resident on a number of radio outlets including Ibiza Global Radio & Radiodeep. He currently holds a regular 'weekly roundup' series for the crew at Radio Electronica which is a wonderful ride of deep house selections

His Grooveology set includes deep groovers from the likes of Radic The Myth, Intr0beatz, Carlo, Tour-Mabourg & Tucillo as well as a couple of his own productions on 'My Dreams' & 'Conflict'

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well! 

This week brought an unexpected turn of events as I have to say goodbye to Linkfire. Despite the unexpected news, I've been reflecting on some positive experiences and great people from my time at Linkfire. The red color in the artwork represents my gratitude for nearly five years of enriching experiences. During this period, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of music, connect with millions of fans, and work on fascinating projects with major music brands.

Linkfire served as an inspiration, encouraging me to pursue my hobby. I was surrounded by colleagues who shared a passion for music, some even actively involved in creating music. It was within this environment that the idea for the Jazzed Irregularity podcast was conceived, along with its name. And to think, Linkfire brought me to Denmark, where my fairy tale actually began ❤️🎶
