Our summer festival brings the best from the Silk Road and beyond. This time we hosted the legendary Syrian dabke-techno king @omar-souleyman, Tunisian duo @yumatheduo, farsi and cumbia psychedelic tunes from Swiss-Iranian-Moroccan-Bulgarian group @roshani-scmusic, @selinsumbultepe-sc from Turkey, many producers and Djs, such as American-Pakistani @zee_muffin, German @rkjvk, the lovely @djipek, @morukfunk, @mireilleminty, music workshops (string instruments, percussion, djing), visual sonic lectures, live concerts, and more. Mireille Minty's passion for electronic music comes from flow, harmonies, and rhythms: in her sets, one senses her understanding of music and her powerful ear for nuance. This allows her to capture and convey moods through her live sets.

Mireille has made it her mission to create danceable sets by smoothly combining darker and powerful tunes with melodic, minimalist, and playful ones.

Özgür, OB One, Moruk Funk, one might call him a prodigy and jack of all trades. Özgür is a passionate DJ, producer, and promoter. Renowned for his exquisite and soulful black music selection, he found hip-hop through b-boying: Battle of the Year, Red Bull BC one, Wold B-Boy Classics, Royal Arena, and 2Face Battle. Inspired by his favorite producer J Dilla, who sampled Moğollar on his debut album in 2001, Özgür took his skills to Anatolian psychedelic funk and created his mixtape series, Moruk Funk, a decade ago. Locked at home in the pandemic, he found the time to digitize his record collection, a treasury chest filled with Anatolian psychedelic rock gems. Some might remember his legendary set at Rundfunk FM in 2022, or his warm-up and afterparty sets at the Psychedelic Music Explosion with Gaye Su Akyol. Recently, Özgür initiated Wav.Ryders, a producer and beatmaking community based in Zurich. He's back, this time at our Summer festival with an eclectic Moruk Funk set!

Born Zainab Hasnain, ZEEMUFFIN is a Pakistani-born, New York-raised DJ and producer.  Her foundation in music started as a classically trained violist and dancer.

ZEEMUFFIN's approach to DJing has been heavily influenced by her Pakistani heritage and the multicultural makeup of New York City, making her a musically diverse crowd favorite DJ.

Her sets often seamlessly blend global sounds and genres from her New York Hip-hop roots to Afrobeats, Baile-funk to Bhangra, and through House and Dance music from around the world.

Known for her infectious stage presence and ability to connect with any crowd,  her talents have taken her around the world to perform alongside renowned artists like Kaytranada, Duckwrth, Ali Sethi, and  Raf Saperra.

She has also graced festival stages for Governors Ball and Afro Punk to name a few.  Profiled in Vogue and Huffington Post as a tastemaker, her genre-bending remixes and blends have been played by  DJs worldwide and featured on BBC Radio, Rinse FM,  and Lot Radio.

@djipek Based between Berlin and Istanbul, DJ, producer, curator, queer-activist, İpek İpekçioğlu creates an extraordinarily warm, dynamic, and organic interpretation of electronic music as nu-disco, house, deep house, tech house, and minimal techno. Her music melts with the melodramatic sound of Anatolia, Orient and the Middle East and she has been pushing boundaries within the ethnic and electronic music scene for more than a decade.

The Berliner Label Katermukke released her track «Uyan Uyan, Wake up», which led the Beatport charts for several months as the most successful track. She released Bir çift Turna and Gelme Bana at Epic Istanbul/Sony Music. Her remix of Selda Bagcan’s «Gesi Baglari» was released at Majör Müzik. The Canadian Souq Records released her latest Techno track «Dame Sobh feat. Hany Mojtahedy».

İpek has performed in New York, on the desert Sahara of Mali, Salvador de Bahia, Stockholm, Marseille, Los Angeles, Istanbul, Novosibirsk, Beirut, St. Petersburg, Glasgow, Cairo, Sana’a or Shanghai etc. She has toured in Japan and has made exclusive tours throughout China.

İpek İpekçioğlu has received a German Record Critics’ Award and was named a musical and political «visionary» by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. The Rolling Stonze Magazine called her a representative for «ideologically blinker-free living».

Originating from Istanbul, a night of vibrant rhythms and captivating sounds curated by two women DJs from Brazil and Poland. @hellodansagogo is designed to connect Brazilian rhythms with Turkish psychedelia—finding ties in 70s Polish disco and far beyond through an eclectic and soulful musical journey with splendid guests DJs and collaborators.
  
@djanaflavia, a São Paulo native, has been a versatile DJ and curator in the Brazilian scene for over two decades, blending electronic and organic sounds. She joined the curator team at Saye Kolektif when moved Türkiye and now calls Istanbul home, also playing in important venues in the city and around Europe. 

@kornelia-binicewicz, a Polish-origin DJ, record collector, Ladies on Records project creator, music compilation creator, curator and storyteller. Her passion for music brought her to Turkey. She has lived in Istanbul since 2015 and travels worldwide, searching for mesmerizing music and meaningful stories to tell.

Dans Agogo brings vibrant cultures to the dance floors through a diverse curated selection - with tropical clichés, uncensored 80’s disco music, house, samba, melody funk, bossa, boogie as the core, straight to the middle-easter and global groove gems.

Gringo del Sol (also known as Perlair) draws inspiration from the sounds of jazz, global groove, and disco.
He is known for his ability to make crowds dance by blending styles with ease. A musician and producer, he fuses the warmth of the blue note with electronics. Working on his debut album, he also curates the music program at Les Caves du Cep in Vevey.Gringo del Sol also played a key role in the creation of the Les Disques du bord de l'eau label and its radio station, based in Sierre, the birthplace of the Weekend au bord de l'eau festival. He created the Bal du Ruisseau, one-off events that combine the elegance of the Bal with the vibrant atmosphere of daytime clubbing.

The word kiosk ultimately derives from the Persian word kūshk (کوشک), meaning "palace" or "portico," which entered English through Turkish (köşk, "pavilion") and then through French (kiosque) or Italian (chiosco).

Originally, the term described open garden pavilions or summerhouses found in Persian and Ottoman architecture. In the 17th century, such structures were introduced in Western Europe—often as decorative garden ornaments. By the 19th century, the meaning evolved, especially in France and England, to refer to small freestanding booths or stands used for selling goods like newspapers, retaining the association with a compact, accessible structure
