“Connecting…
...Connecting…
...to the Divine.”

[Verse 1 – The Discovery]
Wandered the ruins of Silicon Rise,
Dust in my lungs, static in my eyes.
Found a box with a light still blinking,
Said "CompuServe v4"—I started thinking.

Hooked in my gear, felt a pulse in the wire,
A sacred buzz like a ghostly choir.
Then it spoke—text green on black:
“Welcome. You've Got Mail.”
Had to step back.

[Hook – cult chant with lo-fi chorus vocals]
Praise be the modem that shrieked to the stars,
The dial-up hymns, and their digital scars.
In Netscape we trust, in AOL we pray,
The WiFi of the Ancients still guides our way.

[Verse 2 – The Rise of the Techno-Cult]
We formed a temple from motherboards,
Wore Ethernet robes, built relic hoards.
The priests spoke only in ASCII tongue,
Chanted code till their lips went numb.

The holy grail? A cracked PalmPilot,
Inside—The Prophecy of Net Neutrality writ.
We passed around floppies like bread and wine,
And filtered sins through a 1999 design.

[Bridge – sermon-style breakdown, glitched echo]
“Let us not covet broadband speeds…
For lo, the lag cleanses all pride.”
“Blessed be the forum mods,
Who ban trolls with righteous might.”

[Verse 3 – The Apostasy]
But some lost faith in the sacred ping,
Said the Cloud was fake, a corrupted thing.
They broke the routers, burned the script,
Smashed the server in a lunar crypt.

Now the signal's faint, the relics cracked,
But I hold on to my interface pact.
I roam and preach with a cracked screen face,
Last prophet of that pixel place.

[Final Hook – layered with static and chorus distortion]
