NEST Session No. 2 is hosted by Hamburg-based DJ Sarah Q @ssaeerah. As part of KINETIK Sessions, she pushes forward the sonic boundaries of Hamburgs club scene with a mixture of breaks, UK funky and dubstep tunes. 

This mix is a dubstep-oriented selection, filled with vibey, heavy-headed and chilled sounds, plus sprinkled with some straight up bangers. Listen while daydreaming on a rainy afternoon.

With our NEST Sessions mix series we want to open up space for friends and family of Mamagei to show off their sound, vision, creativity, and passion and increase visibility for artists that we think are worthy of your attention. NEST-Session aims to display all kinds of electronic music beyond the genre norm and allow artistic freedom in all directions.

"I’m Jurse Noy and I like to find unique music that would fit right into an underground club setting. I don’t really want to exclusively play any one genre so my mixes go through different styles and sounds, though I do always try to find a throughline with what I play from
vibe to vibe. This is the second mix I’ve put up on radio and it’s a rerecording of the mix I played for my friend’s debut club night. I managed to firm it on an old battered Allen & Heath
mixer with no FX, which is reflected in this recording so I focused mainly on EQ and levels to mix in and out to reaffirm those fundamentals, especially when mixing tunes that are varied and not
the same genre. Thank you so much to DJ Funghoul for letting me cover for her and to Vandelay for putting this up there!"
