Biography
Jazzmosis is a group of four guys coming from very
different backgrounds to explore and create a sound that 
has the energy of rock, the improvisational spark
of jazz, and the element of surprise that can go
in any musical direction and still keep the listener's attention.

Drummer MIKE CERVONE has played in rock bands, blues
bands and jazz bands. His influences range from
Billy Cobham to John Bonham to Buddy Rich.
He can switch on a dime from swing to funk. 

Bassist TOM VOLPE has played in rock and improv bands. 
He also teaches Bass/Guitar at Steve’s Music Center in Rock Hill.
His influences are Phish, Dave Matthews and Pink Floyd.

Guitarist STEVE SCHWARTZ, of Steve’s Music Center, 
helps host a Thursday Night Musicians jam. 
His influences are numerous, among them Jeff Beck,
Shawn Lane, Jimi Hendrix and Tommy Bolin. 

Saxophonist GREG FISKE has had a multitude of experiences
in the music business....from the U.S. Army band to the
rock and roll scene. His influences range from Charlie DeChant
of Hall and Oates to John Klemmer. Greg is also involved in
music recording and production.
