This is the title track of the album. In essence this is jazz meeting Buddhism head on. The sometimes discordant nature of some of the harmonies reflecting the daily struggle of my life and the resolution of these harmonies reflecting the benefit that my Buddhist practice has brought me.

Alaya is the eighth consciousness. It is called the storehouse or alaya-consciousness since this is where our karma is stored. Karma is the cumulative effect of the causal forces produced by every thought, word and deed. The karmic sum of these actions influences everything we experience.
