Elliot Vast - Promise

The ESC’s sound is a powerful combination of vintage samples, electro beats, gypsy-jazz guitar, electric double bass, keys, live drums and dirty synths. Fronted by an engaging female double-act, who perform an extensive variety of vocal styles, the ESC delivers a consistently dazzling show.

'Remixed Vol.1' is the first of a 2 part multi-genre remix release of tracks from the 2nd album by the ESC; It Flew By. We plan to keep the Electro-Swing scene as diverse as it wants to be right here.

All the stops have been pulled on this release, with remixers taking the original material in all directions. The EP features a classic swing house remix of Hit & Run by the one and only Wolfgang Lohr, a killer Jump Up DnB remix of Remedy by Featurecast, some of the finest wobbliness from stateside Glitch Hop leaders SpekrFreks, an extremely heavy & haunting DnB remix of It's Okay, from some of the best producers on the DnB scene - Document One. And last but not least, one of Electro Swing's leading star's, Jamie Berry's big bass remix of Mr Magpie.

Uros Petkovic is the producer and composer known as Jazzotron, who has burst onto the Electro-swing scene in particularly flamboyant fashion. With an eclectic musical experience Petkovic is already a big name on the Balkan music scene, but has only recently emerged within the Electro-Swing consciousness. A master violinist and guitarist, his titillating first forays into the style have left us all hot under the collar! With a unique blend of traditional swing vibes, creamy vocals, and a tantalising injection of his native Serbian flavours in the form of strong looping violin sojourns, these beats are getting the Electro-Swing community excited. Having packed out coolest venues around Europe with both his live performances and in his capacity as DJ, his towering reputation is preceding him across the rest of the world, laying the foundations for a full-scale Balkan invasion.
