Following on from the massive success of Fuck Jazzsteppa Vol 1, this is the second digital compilation released by dubstep producers Jazzsteppa, bringing together five exclusive tracks from cutting-edge producers on the global scene.

Imaginary Friend “A Therapy for Blind Musicians” The first ever release from Imaginary Friend, “A Therapy For The Blind” is an anthemic, meditative deep dubstep track referencing ambient techno.The 19yro from Thessaloniki, may still be cutting his teeth as a producer, serving by day as an electronic intelligence officer for the Greek army, but he’s already captured audiences all over his native country.

Bukez Finezt “OK” Thriving underground producer Bukez Finezt cuts irreverent video-game sounds with heavy, warped beats, for his first release on the Jazzsteppa label. Previous releases have been put out by MonstaDubs,TuffLoveDubs & PrimeAudio.

IBenji & Oceania “Dissected” Upcoming Russian producers IBenji & Oceania bring this killer dance floor track from the Zelenograd on the outskirts of Moscow, a labyrinth that winds its way through electronic jazz elements ripped apart by devastatingly teeth-baring bass.

Borgore “Go To Bed” A rare and exclusive release from global dubstep sensation Borgore, “Go To Bed”, one of the first tunes the Israeli producer made, is a precursor to his provocative style, fusing controversial lyrical content and tough, inimitable bass lines, proving once again “his musical talents are huge” (Mixmag, April 2011).

Jazzsteppa “Heaven on Earth” A brand new track, “Heaven on Earth” sets a scene of a hazy countryside meadow, with its twee accordion melodies, before descending into an animalistic rave Jazzsteppa- style,
with epic, dub-driven wobwob.

Fuck Jazzsteppa Vol. 1 is a new digital release by Jazzsteppa 
featuring four exclusive tracks from emerging luminaries of the 
global dubstep scene.

Borgore - “Guided Relaxation Dub”

Controversial Brostep/Gorestep pioneer Borgore’s sensational track 
“Guided Relaxation Dub” has already racked up close to a million views 
on YouTube. Hailing from Tel Aviv, the young producer’s surgical FX-work 
and rapturous basslines represent the cutting edge of the upfront sound.

Phokus & Mr Boogie - “Whalaan”

Hamburg-based producer Phokus triangulates the diverse nodes of his 
eclectic musical background – grime, jungle, drum ‘n’ bass and punk – 
and the results are never less than scintillating. “Whalaan” raises the 
bar yet again with its slinky suffusion of dub, jungle breaks and uplifted 
reggae vocal loops.

Jazzsteppa - “Fat-Pig”

“Fat-Pig” marks a departure from the peace-and-love fusion of 
roots and dub that the live dubstep collective have become known for. 
Here they cut narcotised beats and spectral samples with filthy, driving 
percussion – a taste of the future of the Jazzsteppa sound.

Tomb Crew - “Dungeon Town”

London favourites Tomb Crew’s “Dungeon Town” is an irresistibly 
buoyant dancefloor track, all neon laser-synths and stuttering liquid bass. 
As Dazed & Confused remark, Tomb Crew ‘work hard at making the girlies 
dance.. and do it damn proper.’

Saint Rider - “Anything, Everything“

Fuck Jazzsteppa Vol. 1 introduces virtual unknown Saint Rider who until 
now has been producing music to please his peers in his native Moscow. 
“Anything, Everything” is typical of his super-hyped style: an in-your-face 
anthem that solders 90s rave melodics to testosterone-jacked beats and 
demonic breaks.

Jazzsteppa are a live dubstep collective, known as the first outfit to release and play live dubstep 
with acoustic instruments. Releases include Taylor Rain /Big Swing Sound and America B/Five.

Blood Earth (Back Against the Wall) is the first collaboration between Jazzsteppa and the Word Sound Power collective.

Word Sound Power is a trust dedicated to collaboration with revolutionary singers and musicians across India. Blood Earth is Word Sound Power's second project, recorded in Kucheipadar, a tribal village in Odisha that has been the site of an intense and prolonged conflict and home to a rich musical tradition.

Jazzsteppa's remix (and IPhone App) combines the lyrics of Delhi Sultanate, the mixing of Vienna based dubstep trio Atomique, the rhythm section of Israeli dub outfit Zvuloon Dub System and the video work of Kush Badhwar.
