Ya got to do the Hop, one of those examples of pushing the orginal tempo up with DJayPro for Mac before importing into Cubase or Logic Pro X. Pitching the vocal semitones down because of rhythm increase. After that pimpin' it up with downtempo techfunk beats and midi scores with Spectrasonics Software such as Keyscape. Havin' a blast on this on my piano. Practicing my chops. Havin a good time at the home studio pushin hard to fill this channel with many bootleg mashes and crossover styles. Also coming up: a lounge EP and quite some soulful house releases on our Label Prana Records with Alankara. On soundcloud I'm merely sending out schetches and vibes which normally would stay on the shelve withouth releases. It's superdope to pitch the org track up to 113 in DJayPro software and downsize it 2 semitones for the vocal pitch. Really cool effect. Just discovered another composition, I think something from last year, but now pimped out with the new studio tools. Home schetching, practising my midi composition skills, making tracks, writing music. Four on Five means I sort of made a variation on the famous Dave Brubeck track Take Five which is a 5/4 beat. So this is the 4/5 JD Edit with parts and variations played in a different way making it something in between soulful house, deephouse and smooth jazz house. Soultrain written and composed by Dirk van der Wal and recorded @ FGE Studio by Double D Productions, which is a collab between the multi talented gitarist, vocalist, composer Dirk van der Wal and myself as pianist composer. This project got lost in a Hard Disk Crash many ears ago, the only thing left was an old bounce. After years of only performing live with this track, (which always gave great energy towards our audience), I thought it was about time to pimp this nice composition with my new studio setup, using Mac Mini, Spectrasonics, Arturia Pack 8, FabFilter EQ and changing the key a semitone done with DJayPro software for Mac. Additional beats and midi scores and the 2021 edit get's ready to be broadcasted on this Soundcloud Channel. Enjoy. The lyrics are amazingly upto date in terms of the present time and world we live in at the moment, which makes this vocal track also more attractive than the many instrumental tracks I have in my sleeve for this channel. This is what you call a high quality soulfulhouse production. No efforts let go to having recorded the best musicians we have in our large poule of topnotch musicians to actually produce a soulfulhouse track composed and arranged by Alankara & Jazzy D with a full band line up based on beats engineered and mixed by Alankara with the assist of Kraak & Smaak producer Oscar. 

With an amazing guitar solo Jessyhaymusic sets a mark for solo-ing on Traxsource releases which is simply outstanding. The trumpets have been recorded quite a while ago but we decided to take 'm out of the barn, meet Rob van de Wouw on trumpet. 

Bass player Thomas Pol is one of the most grooviest contrabass cats of the new jazz generation in the Netherlands and has recorded his Vintage Fender Bassgitar for us on this track. 

Top that off with the wizzard on percussion Mister Martin Verdonk himself (known from the famous band Incognito), and the recept for this Alankara & Jazzy D Production in the mix is ready to sing to the world. This piece of work was created around 2006 - 2007 and never got released. What happened is that the hard disk in the studio which included all the recorded audio crashed so hard that it never got recovered. The only thing we have left from this production was a bounce of some loose groups. Such a pitty, the lyrics where way ahead of their time and are -in a way- describing what is happening in the world of 2021 now. I wrote these lyrics myself. With Romagna I told her every single note how to sing it, with Raffaele I let her do free improv, the two of them make a pretty nice duette. Enjoy Change the Way.

When I had invested a lot of money for that time in taking over the formal Topnotch Studio of labelboss Kees de Koning I thought I would conquer the world with my music. The truth is music has brought me a lot of fun and pleasure and I found a way to even make a good living outof it but eventually without being commercial or a hitmachine it costs more than it delivers. That's why I present these old tracks to the gaming industry now via Medal.tv to possibly get some more exposure on old tracks and schetches that never got released. Enjoy.

Jazzydmusic - Jazz pianist, DJ, composer, producer. One of the first artists in Holland who started to combine live musicians with DJs.
Jazzy D is specialised in working live with artist on stage as a DJ. With well known artists like Candy Dulfer he performs for corporate events, dinner2dance parties, festivals etc. His Jazz piano roots give him a kean ear to perform live with artists as a DJ. He has co written many tracks on famous labels such as Spinnin Records, Soulfuric, Defected, Prana Records (own label), Hed Kandi, Supperclub, and other labels.
