Blurry in the Background is a genre-bending exploration of identity, presence, and artistic resilience in a world oversaturated with noise. Fusing elements of electronic, dubstep, hip hop, ambient, downtempo, and trap, this EP doesn’t chase trends—it dissolves them, reforming sound into something raw, personal, and refreshingly new.

The project draws inspiration from the feeling of fading into the static—of being present, yet unseen. A female figure flickers in and out of existence in a digital studio, mirroring the artist’s own fight to stay defined amid shifting industry standards and fleeting moments of validation. It’s a sonic statement about refusing to blur out, even when the world wants to pixelate your truth.

Each track feels like decoding a message from deep within the noise—untangling the chaos of expectations, impostor syndrome, and the ache for authenticity. Blurry in the Background isn’t about being overlooked. It’s about choosing to stay in the frame on your own terms, refusing to disappear just to fit in.

This is music for the fringe dwellers, the genre hybrids, the voices too vivid to be background noise.

Static Between Streetlights is a 12-track instrumental album built from chopped samples, field recordings, and analog imperfection. Most of the tracks started as voice memos or ideas on my phone, then were arranged in Bitwig and run through a Tascam 688 cassette multitrack — with live pitch control and tape saturation shaping the final bounce.

The result is dusty, cinematic, and slightly warped. It’s lo-fi for rainy nights, empty sidewalks, and thoughts you can’t quite put into words.

This is my debut full-length project — self-produced, self-mixed, and self-released.
