I Don't Know Much 1 - 6-24 V1.2

Experimenting with new music software to make a two part song structure. I had  a friend in California add electric guitar which was  fun cross country collaboration.

Have To Go  Away For Some Time 1 - 7-24 V1.3

An original song using mandolin and midi/synth. I am injured and can't play other stringed instruments, but it is a fun challenge to work within the confines of only a mandolin and midi. This song was influenced by Talking Heads, who I used to love.

Pay You Back In Kind 1 - 7-24 V2.2

First draft of an original song about the storms that destroyed the dunes at Ditch Plains in Montauk. It has an uptempo rock vibe with a half speed outro. Although I did not intend it at the outset, the style  reminds me of 1990s Beck.

Friend of the Devil

I made a first attempt at Pink Floyd's "Brain Damage->Eclipse" from Dark Side of the Moon. I played the song on acoustic guitar rather than electric guitar which is used on the album. I overdubbed bass and also harmonies. The song "Eclipse" has a whole choral backing section and I did four vocal overdubs (including some acapella acrobatics) to approximate the sound. Then I had my friend WT overdub drums. The drums add so much to the chorus. I'm grateful to her! It was fun to try a less covered Floyd song.

One More Cup Of Coffee 2 - 24 - 18 V2

This song started as a solo acoustic sing songwriter track, vaguely in an old-time musical style. Pete Miser took that straightforward song and totally reimagined it. I'm thrilled and honored by the work he did on it.
