We are Happy to welcome PINTO. A young talented producer from Jerusalem. As a musician, he is well known creating complex melodies with his guitar, bringing new fresh sounds to our house.

The main track 'Sweat' consist a great hypnotic vocal that is perfect for peak time moments while the second track 'Trench' has got great piano improvisation that is great for opening or closing a beautiful club nights.

➤ About this VA:
100 years ago the world lived in chaos. Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Making this compilation was a leap into the void, a mixture of psychic automatism and cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) that ended with a very free, authentic and very fresh result, with the wonder of the unexpected, including very purely electronic songs, with ideas of techno and even psy trance, like other more tropical ones with psychedelic cumbia, of course others more pop and the others, those that are usually there in our music, the ones totally trippy.

We hope you enjoy this great compilation full of freedom and unusual ideas, which will help you connect with another world through music, rhythm and love, thank you eternally!

We’re big fans here at Sprechen of Frederik Hendrik and have been hammering his release on HeSheThey and Pomme Fritte in many sets over the years which is what drive us to drop him a fax and see if he’d be up for gracing us with his presence on Sprechen. After nearly 3 years (in which time he hands built himself a garden studio!) we are please to welcome him to the fold with 2 absolute killer cuts on Andere Landen.

Het Spiraal is a turbo charged, head down stomper which packs bags of funk and dance floor groove into its 6 & half min run time. Deranged synths stab in & out with phased out melodies and enough space disco soundscapes to make Prins Thomas quake in his Norwegian slippers!

Title track Andere Landen is a touch of a deeper affair but still packing the jackin’ along with some wobbly synth sounds & Italo style vibes and an absolute slamming drop with a twisted vocal wrapping itself into your psyche. Not quite a peak time but a tune you’d drop peak time (if that makes sense!?)…another subtle banger that will hook ‘em in. HUGE.

Frederik Hendrik - Andere Landen [SPRECHEN]

I cannot find any person in this world more interesting than Moondog. Inventor of instruments, self-taught composer, poet and blind at 16, he dwelled for 30 years in 6th Avenue & 53th in New York, wearing a viking suit while selling his recorded music and poems. Friend of the best musicians of the city such as Charlie Parker or Benny Goodman, he got introduced to Native American music since young. This mixture of Jazz, Native American music and New York City street sounds are the foundation of Moondog’s signature sound.

JC, es un reconocido videocreador y dj de las Rias Baixas. Comenzo a pinchar hace diez años en el Bolboreta Club, local da ciudad de Pontevedra en el que se mantuvo varios anos como dj de referencia. Desde entonces ha pinchado en diversos locales, como el Underground en O Grove, Blend en A Coruña ou o Real 10 en Pontevedra. Ademas, ha participado en eventos como el Boa Vila Pride (fiesta organizada por el Concello de Pontevedra para celebrar o Día do Orgullo Gay), o Zero Rock o el ya célebre After Party del festival Cultura Quente en Caldas. A lo largo de este tiempo JC supo adaptar sus sesiones a nuevos horarios, ofreciendo sesiones vermú o sesiones de tarde en diversas ciudades. Su trabajo non es una cuestión de estilo, si no una cuestión de sensaciones, e viene definido por la luminosidad, e un aura agradable que invita al movemiento. 

JC traslada su pasión por música a su labor como director creativo y realizador de el Espejo Mágico Producciones, una empresa dedicada principalmente al eje audiovisual, donde la música que acompaña a las imágenes es parte fundamental y referencial de su trabajo.
