Exclusive: Dave Aju - Get It

Born and raised in San Francisco, Dave Aju grew up inspired by the likes of KRS One, The Pharcyde, Moodyman and Cajmere. Such influences have led him on a pursuit through sound and exploration: this has been reflected in his musical output over the past thirteen years. In this time he has formed a close relationship with French record label Circus Company and has since released three full length LP's under their blessing. His early roots lie in jazz and his musical background features drums and piano, such knowledge has led him to a sound which aligns with the more soulful edges of deep house which finds itself more relevant as a genre than ever before.

Redlight Music is launching a new Various Artist series called ‘Redlight Visions'. Where the Berlin based records label is presenting some new label artist and different styles of sound.

For this first VVAA Redlight presents a 4 tracker including Pysh, Cosmosolar, Brothers Since ’93 and JC Dom. Four different artist, four different styles and one Main goal: love to music.

Opening the release is “Sisologism” from the newcomer JC Dom. A Techhouse rocket with catchy vocals and a groovy bass. Second track comes from the Argentinian producer Cosmosolar, who explores the atmospheric Techno side driving up and down the synths and collapsing them on a huge explosion.

The French duo Brothers Since ’93 is signing the third track of the release “Black Subway”. A heavy Techno weapon perfect for club peak time.

Closing the EP we can find the Polish artist Pysh, who has previously release in labels such Einmusika, Defected or Traum.

Pysh offers a very nice piece of House music very instrumental witch keeps a moody drum loop along the track while the keys construct the whole rhythm around it.

Domenico Colella , aka JC DOM , was born in Marcianise (CE) in 1986 , DJ and producer , begins to approach the house music since the tender age of eleven, listening to recordings of parties like New york bar Claudio Coccoluto and Joe T Vannelli , Angels of Love and parties . He began making his first experiences with friends from 14 years old when he saw his sets as console cd players and and a small mixer arranged . At age 16 he bought his first real console , used but fully functional. The purchase of the vinyl is purely " house" At 17 years is taken as their resident DJ in a disco-pub in his country , where he began to take its first steps . After this experience knows some PR -known in the province, which led him to play in the best clubs of the same and offer him the opportunity to play in other clubs in the Naples , from then on, he began his career as a DJ while moving in Calabria . In 12 years a lot of his suit like that without too loose from its roots , while remaining true to house music , even if jc prefers to define his own set a hybrid gathering in its sonority genres ranging from the lounge to the deep , from jazz to the house , from indie to techno !
