The piano improvs were my very first attempts at making music ever. Starting with the first movement of the first improv, and sequentially through the second improv, then through bagatelles 1, 2, and 3. I have worked on many other things since the improvs, but they remain unfinished or forgotten figments of an idea. I will make more, absolutely. I am still learning/figuring out my style and understanding.

These are experiments in the pursuit of understanding tonality and classical music without the foundational understanding provided by academia. I have not been to any class, this is just by using my piano in combo with garageband, I can play and edit and create. I am greatly inspired by Beethoven, but I do not want to be him. I merely want to understand his understanding of music through harmony, melody, and rhythm. I do study what I can find on the internet, so I have managed to learn a bit over the past 2 years since I started this journey. I am extremely open to criticism and new information, so if you want to point out anything that sounds wrong, and provide me a possible alternative solution with an explanation I would be extremely humbled.

My intention is to understand music through experience. I once had the realization that the classical form is like the science of musical expression, so I figured I would test the theory by making my own attempts at music creation without any kind of music background.  This is a hobby. If I didn't work I would do this all day and work my way towards symphony's and quartets. But sadly this world is governed by scarcity at the moment, and we must work to sustain our lives, even if the work is soul-sucking and meaningless (it’s not meaningless if its providing value to your life)
