After cleaning the cobwebs of my decks, I am ready to make booties bounce and feet frantic on the dancefloor, This is my first mix after almost a decade of isolation. After digging and exploring new sonic possibilities, I have regained my inspiration for sonically eclectic music that keeps people on their toes.

For this month I wanted to focus on the concept of Wabi Sabi, the Japanese idea of embracing imperfection. I think many of us constantly strive for perfection in many facets, whether it be within ourselves or others. I believe it is important to embrace imperfection in our lives and in our music to remember what's important. Life and music are meant to be experienced and enjoyed. The cracks of imperfection are where the roots of growth bury themselves. For this mix I found myself strapped for time and wanted to get a little rambunctious. This mix is full of tracks with genres and tempos that I never play, with weird track structures. I recorded the mix in one take with no preparation. I hope listening to this mix frees you from the shackles of expectation. <3
