Production company owner and renowned DJ J Clava developed his unshakable passion for dance music back in 2009 after becoming enamoured with the rave scene. Just 2 years later he debuted his DJ career and has played iconic venues ever since including his very own residency at The Side Room in his hometown of McAllen, Texas. J Clava’s skills haven’t gone unnoticed as he has opened for the likes of Alex Peace, Brian Boncher and MSCLS along with hosting legendary underground warehouse raves in Pharr.

Inspired by industry icons such as Nicole Moudaber, Alex Peace and Chris Stussy, J Clava describes his style as somewhat dark yet vibrant and soulful that makes you feel alive. Having certainly showcased this through his DJ sets where he plays a stunning mix of Techno, Deep, Tech, and Jackin’ House, J Clava is now aiming to recreate the feelings he provides playing live through his producing skills developing his very own sonic signature. 

His release ‘Underground Swing’ debuts in August this year on the esteemed Las Vegas record label WoNKed Music Group and is already generating a tonne of excitement as his fans prepare to become consumed with his sensational sounds.
