APRIL RELEASE OUT NOW OFF DBR RECORDINGS - The Question

Started as a DJ first. First record purchased: Frankie Knuckles Whistle Song. Got hooked from there, buying records and DJING. Was part of the dynamic duo Vinyl Thieves. Had the honour to be on the same bill with the likes of DJ SNEAK, MARK FARINA, the late great KENNY HAWKES, ROY DAVIS Jr, and amazing Toronto locals like Jason Hodges and Nathan Barato.  Had many musical influences, from Prince, Michael Jackson, Herby Hancock, Daft Punk, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak to the Neptunes, Timbaland and Kanye. 

 First release on Bumpin City Records under the Vinyl Thieves moniker. I was at a party where DJ Heather was playing and in her mix she plays my track. Amazing feeling! Being there and not expecting it. Or when Derrick Carter plays one of your tracks and someone sends you the set and says.....the first song in his set is yours! Words just can’t explain it when you’re two favourite DJ’s play out your art. 

 Now fast forward to 2014 got that itch to get back into it and have to give a shout out to AKAI for coming out with the MPC Renaissance because it helped me get back into it. When I started back in the day I had the 2000xl and I'm all about creating organic beats then clicking a mouse. So for the last 2 years, been trying to bring back that swing, that jacking techy raw funk sound and bounce. And in 2016 my first release in a long, long time came out on Monster Disco Records. So stayed tuned as I take you on this musical journey of this beat we call house!
