In the concept Artist meets jCoke the turn now have come to the wonderful and talented Milana Zilnik. I saw this as a real challenge since she is so good musician. I got the MIDIs for her track Farewell which I love. I tried to preserve as much of her play but make it jCokish which is the whole idea behind this concept :D I thank her from my heart that I got this opportunity. I hope you like it??

Farewell - Milana Zilnik Meets jCoke

Im at vacation and using my mobile studio (MAC) not sure how this sounds and since I am in a MAC I don't have the exact tools and plugins I am used to.. however this track started as a pure classical tune and transformed into a trance tune but I had problem to go through with this all the way and I had this in my drawer and changed it more to trance. I chosen to keep the name anyway .. :D And I fooled around and had fun :)
I have also been playing with stereo image like the layered kick is tweaked a lot.. dunno if that worked or not..

Once again I got the opportunity to work with Milanas wonderful music. I tried to preserve and intensify the feel I got for the tune. I hope you dont think I ruined it ??

Do you think this is boring? Its really simplfied and not much harmonies in this one... nexy one I will go back to previous harmony-based tune and see if I can combined things...

But I got free hands from Patrick which I really used :D But there is still his scores along the whole track. I got the midis so I really could break loose !! Thanks Patrick. Had a minor issue with my new guitar. I discovered it was out of tune in mid-freets but I fixed it, but its still more adjustments to be done. I wanted to do much better lead guitar but I wasnt able yet, Not synced enough between hands and you will notice its not so good ...
