"Liza’s Last Stand" is the hymn of the night when a child dared to remain standing against cruelty. Through tears and blood, Liza raised her arms in the shape of a cross against corrupt men, holding within her fragile body a force far greater than her age. Her magic, shaped since childhood by her father Vertere’s teachings of self-defense, found in pain and loss the channel that made it overflow — a silent cry transformed into power.

Each chord of the song carries the weight of her struggle: fear turned into resistance, innocence breaking into fury, a flame that burns even when the wind grows stronger. ‘Liza’s Last Stand’ is not only about the battle against Gregor and William, but about the very moment when Liza became more than Vertere’s daughter — she became a symbol of defiance and courage against the darkness.

The Anatomy of Loneliness becomes a sonic dissection of the body and mind under prolonged absence of connection.

The project is also a very personal journey through trauma:

Noriko Mori brings in traditional Japanese instruments while working through the loss of her brother, who had withdrawn from the world as a hikikomori before taking his own life. With this EP, she faces the silence he left behind — and turns it into a voice
