Crevasse [K2 LP]

Approximately 700,000 people applied for asylum throughout the EU during 2015, after what has been a sharp incline in claims over the past five years. This number is expected to swell in 2016 in the face of many closing borders. I think it's important to remember that every human alive today shares a common ancestor with someone who lived approximately two millennia ago. We are all one family, literally cousins, yet borders, politics, wealth, religion, creed, gender, sexuality, and more, continue to divide, and classify us. Just think, In only two millennia from now, all of humanity will share a common ancestor with just one person living today, and that person could be you. Everyone of us deserves a life free from poverty or war, a place to call home, a job to provide sustenance, and someone to love — Don't be afraid to be the change you want to see in the world, after all, it is ours to change.
