My own take on a "Darkstar" inspired version of the Kerbal Space Program theme i felt was missing from the main menu startup sounds I've seen watching KSP2 videos.

Darkstar is one of my favorite tracks from the Top Gun Maverick soundtrack - used while Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is attempting to get his air-speed up to Mach 10 in the experimental "Darkstar" prototype SCRAM-jet.

to try and stave off music block i was working on covers of dark world from LTTP and launch base zone from sonic 3 at the same time. at a certain point i realized the songs sound kind of similar to each other and might be fun to put together. love doing these mashup covers, always a fun exercise. 

i know i havent posted a song in like 5 months, and i assure you that is because ive been extremely busy doing the absolute bare minimum of college work, playing dark souls, and brooding as i take lonely walks around the city, like tyler durden or batman or some shit.
