love the chilled out guitar through the verse. Seems like a really sad story happened here, but lyrics and music are inspired. I definitely like the arpeggiated 8-bit synth and build towards the end. You're on a streak for sure! Keep going!

I really like the riffy verse! This song has such a great atmosphere

getting some more strong REM vibes here but I know there is a better analogy.  I think I'm starting to hear a Stipe quality in your voice a bit.  on TOP of the other character qualities in your voice, Neil Young, Don Henley.  there are AWESOME juxtapositions in the arrangement here and as a general theme in your stuff I notice.  a progression of chords paired with a somewhat perpendicular vocal arrangement.  not the one you'll expect.  in fact my brother and I were going through your delivery service album and he mentioned how you exemplify just what can be done with 3 or 4 chords to make a song really unique and inventive.  hearing quite a bit of that this week.  timing, and rhythm for one - but with you the vocal lends a completely different texture to the chords you play and always seems to take a really captivating and unique path.  this song really illustrates that.  it somewhat articulates one of the main things that draws me in to your writing.
