'Stronger Than Ever' is a collection gathering all the best talents of Italian reggae scene in one single album, giving a full dimension of what Reggae music is in our country nowadays.

The album combines the presence of the best bands and Italian producers who, in the past few years, have taken local reggae beyond the national borders such as Lion D, Mellow Mood, Forelock, Raphael, Kg Man, Piero Dread, Mama Marjas & Tahnee, Paolo Baldini, Madaski and Dot Vibes.

The album, made of original tunes and riddims specifically created for each artist, shapes from the idea of Niam (Massimo 'Mina' Minato) to work on a project with a common goal, where each tune is useful and essential to the whole work. “In times where a certain amount of individualism is necessary to achieve results, the chance to feel ourselves as a single movement can be a sign of very strong unity, because only together we can look forward" (Niam)

'Stronger Than Ever' is  absolutely something new as it fully shows the big steps forward made in the last ten years by Italian reggae music; a path that originated more than thirty years ago, allowing us to understand and feel a musical genre born on the other side of the world and making it 'ours' too. 

The album marks the beginning of a new cycle of productions, in which Niam & DotVibes Crew will embrace new projects destined to the whole Italian reggae scene.

'Stronger Than Ever'' means to be the first step of a long journey, a sort of Format to be reproposed with other artists, other ideas, other energies.

RASTA CONNECTION - VAMPAYAH

Granular Meets J Dubby at Echo Mountain to produce the vibrations of J dubular. The union and resulting journey is not one of ascension or descent, but about how to sonically (and scenically) navigate the terrain. J Dubby’s drums and Granular’s bass establish the foundational “riddim” of their travels as the duo takes us spelunking through caverns of reverb haunted by flocks of bats screeching ambient white noise. The splash of metallic puddles resonates in the space between our ears and drones in the ether of our mind’s eye. And just as one becomes disoriented by the soundscapes within Echo Mountain, people all over the world join hands as J Dubby’s righteous organ propels the locomotion of a “Dub Train.” In these moments of resolution we are reminded that our tour guides are not the first to traverse the crags of Echo Mountain, yet in their voyages they have found new paths through a rich tradition mapped by dub explorers.
