This track proved quite challenging to edit, so I decided to record it in several versions. 
Version number 5 is a kind of electronic mishmash of styles with several overlapping and repetitive rhythms.

Soul Sacrifice

Polymath continues on it’s thematic journey, this time touching on the concept of ‘Decay’. Leading the troupe is renowned duo Digitaria. Their piece relies on a hypnotic, chugging bass-line and melodic leads to reveal their thoughts on the theme. The lead synth plays with decay and sustain parameters to reinforce the idea, and a suspenseful break adds to the compelling mood.

Polymath head Third Son, and Sincopat’s Darlyn Vlys, collaborate for the first time to bring us a heads down, melancholic affair, with a clear message. The words “The end is the same for everyone one”, points towards the idea of death, emphasising the theme.

Newcomer Ańii, makes her Polymath debut in style. A relentless bass-line coupled with dark atmospheres makes this one for the later nights. Arpeggiated chords enter the arrangement during a break before once again being pushed out by the powerful low end.

Dusty Kid is one of most renowned Italian electronic music artists. His profile remains in the underground side of the industry but his musical skills are great and eclectic. 'Istmo' is leaded by a catchy melody surrounded by a powerful bassline and deep elements. 'Sysma' is such a real techno track, a few but well chosen elements and some original and surprising breaks… Closing the release we find 'Feelers', a track with a raw beat, big bassline and lead synth, enough to do serious damage to any techno dancefloor.

His latest outing shows maturity and musical development, as we kick off proceedings with 'Celestials'. Oldrich Sic Jr. is no stranger to MYR's growing list of world-class contributors, and his newest release comes in the form of an explosive remix package of his hard-hitting release ‘Well’, taken from his EP ‘Down to Detail’, previously released on the German imprint. A difficult selection to begin with, the creative masterminds behind the remix edition collectively chose the track due to it's the stable path with many elements that could be stripped down groove by groove for what would ultimately be one of the German label's most significant projects to date.

Stepping up to the plate, label boss Goeran Meyer brings a broken down deep-house approach into the remix EP with his version encompassing intricately crafted drums with tightly syncopated, rhythmic stabs that give his song a darker, derelict feel which was a nice touch from the warm punch and energy from Oldrich's original.

Look out for this fantastic remix package due for release on 12.07.2019 on all significant digital portals as the MYR discography continues to expand its widening array of emotionally constructive dance music.
