'Leitstrahl were raised on a strict diet of electronic music. Electro pop. Italo Disco. Synth movie scores. This was the bread and butter of this three man Austrian outfit. With more than fifteen years of band history, the trio of Stoff, Paul Raal and Boogaloo Steve are as proud as punch to announce their debut album: Chromium Dioxide. For their twelve tracks the triumvirate have pooled their enthusiasm and experience, calling on a string of friends to give their selection a unique energy and emotion. Jon Jon, aka John Foster, of Bronski Beat fame, offers his vocals for the rollercoaster ride of “Europa Supersaw.” Nicole Jaey’s mellifluous voice soars in the blazing “Chevrolée,” Christina Mirabilis lends her sweet lyrics for the fiery “Girotti” with Jimmy Baker voicing the pop heartbreak of “White Tail.” Synthlines sparkle across the collection, magical melodies pirouetting in a haze of deep Summer sun. We're proud of the way we make releases. By the time we're through putting together an EP, 190 hands have inspected and handled the tracks. Any one of those hands can reject the songs if they're not up to Monaberry quality. Keep that in mind as you hear the following music.
Super Flu deliver the best 100% dancefloor tunes in the business. They have to be tough enough to withstand 120 decibel of pressure at a single point. That way, we're sure you're getting the strongest music.
The drums of Gargamel are bonded by hand. That helps to make the tunes more comfortable for your dancing shoes. What*s more, Humbled K has a fully cushioned synth line for extra comfort. All the hi hats are duoble or triple stitched by machine. The top of each file is box stitched so that it can't open. Period. But it's the finishing touches that really count. All the basses are waxed by hand to keep the weather out.
After a meticulous final inspection by Feliks and Mathias we have the Gargamel EP. We think they*re the best tracks made. That's why we don't mind asking you to spend your money for them.

Super Flu liefern die besten 100%igen Dancefloor-Tunes in der Branche. Sie müssen hart genug sein, um 120 Dezibel Druck an einem einzigen Punkt auszuhalten. Auf diese Weise sind wir sicher, dass du die stärkste Musik bekommst.

"We are more than happy to welcome back "Nicone" on Ritter Butzke Records. Together with David Hasert and two feature artists he delivers the new two-track release "Ah Oh Uh".

For the name-giving track of this release "Ah Oh Uh" the two boys teamed up with Diode Eins. The result of this cooperation takes the audience on an atmospheric journey with a broken beat groove and 80s soundscapes, arps and vocal stabs. Nicone's pumping remix impresses with a straight four-to-the-floor kick and bassline groove combined with spherical chords and drone pads.

"Hover" featuring Dario Klein is a compelling peak time track that is carried by rising and falling synthie sounds, a rolling acid bassline and a broken beat."

Exclusive Skatman 'Meraki (Ivory's Pychedelic Rework)'

After four catalogue numbers Aziz Haddad alias Skatman releases his first EP  on the label he founded in 2016, Scatcity. 'Back In The Zukunft', how Skatman's debut EP is called, consists out of three original tracks and a remix of 'Meraki' by one of the scene's aspiring artist, namely Daniel Tagliaferri, who's better known under his Ivory-moniker. Having released on Kompakt, Sol Eterno and delivering Scatcity's previous EP, 'Mindfullness', which was strongly supported by a wide-range of music-connoisseurs and made it into the record bags of Red Axes, Dixon and Ame. Daniel's approach on 'Meraki' features, as the working title already suggests, a psychedelic touch the intro points out subtly in the reams of detailed and apparent deep and multi-dimensional soundscapes. After two minutes and eight seconds 'Meraki' is literally added a 'punchline' with the bass line's introduction, which simultaneously supports the twirling and swirling synths and retain the tension throughout the track.

Skatman's EP 'Back In The Zukunft' will be released October 26th, 2018 on Scatcity.

Exclusive Avidus 'Engarde (Aera Remix)'

Kiel based producer duo Avidus is ready to release its 'Engarde' EP on Hommage. The four tracker comes with two original tracks, 'Engarde' and 'Medea', and two remixes, one for each of the original takes, by Reboot and Aera. Latter takes on remix duties for the EP's title track and slows the cut down by five beats per minute. What does not sound like much of a change regarding the speed of the track, has quite an impact on the overall vibe. Therefore Aera adds a percussion substructure giving the slowed down synth-chords the needed drive from start to finish. As a side-effect the disco-ish influenced vibe and elements, mainly at the beginning of the track, when they are most present, cover the feeling as if the 'Soul Train' has gone techno and take up pace before the lead-melody unfolds its hypnotic character by firstly changing the tonality of it over the course of the track and secondly by adding spheric soundscapes. The result is a mental Aera rework that either works in dark underground clubs or moves the masses during the outdoor festival season.

Avidus' EP 'Engarde' will be released on Hommage May 3rd, 2019.
