Schlepp Geist delivers the ‘Run' EP on When We Dip XYZ. Throughout the 4-tracker, the Leipzig producer adopts a maximalist attitude to sound with thumping kicks, mesmerizing vocals layers and a fine balance between ominous ambiences and fast-paced melodies.

‘Run' starts things off as the deep groove and cheerful lead slowly gets taken over by a forbidding siren. The break makes way for a dirty, over the top bassline sure to cause damage on dancefloors worldwide.

‘Chord Society' is next, as the dynamic groove led by the ad-lib, cowbell and shaker introduces a grim reese bass. The ever-building tension of the arp is released in quick bursts by the dynamic chord progression.

On ‘Reel Luv', the ravey chord stabs put the harmonic touch to the chaotic groove comprised of vocal chops, ensemble of hi-hats and complementary percussions. The vocal ‘Cause it's reel luv' is repeated over and over, swimming in and out of the track.

Keeping the same sonic palette as the previous tunes, ‘Squire' proves a fitting conclusion. The breaky groove recedes halfway through, letting the bass take the center stage and develop into a tale of epic proportions.

This time he brings his 'Knopfleur EP' to the table, which is arguably his strongest yet.

James has been supported by Tale of Us, Sasha, Adriatique, Marino Canal, John Digweed and Hernán Cattáneo. He has released tracks on Sincopat, Selador and ICONYC. This year he’s dropped EPs and singles with the highly respected Siamese and Global Underground; he’s arguably one of the most in-demand producers currently at work in the melodic spectrum.

It's almost time to take out your sandals and cover your body with oil. The sun is back and brings with it a new episode on REBA. 

The opening is greatly inspired and motivated by long dub and reggae sessions. 'Herb' starts with an applied groove built around perc sounds with a strong personality, they will act on your bodies and in your heads. Once this is established, that the foundations are laid, it's time to bring a powerful and airy synthesizer to introduce an deep itw. 

'Colombian Gold' uses the same fundamentals but here it is a mischievous sequence that comes to surprise us when we no longer expect it. A composition where we recognize the influences of the magic herb. Connoisseurs will also recognize the name. 

'Back From Gotham' closes this hard-hitting EP. Here the message is more intimate, personal and the melody which carries us throughout most of the piece encourages us to reconnect with what is essential. 

As usual a lot of love and a bit of grass was used into the musical process.

AFFKT is the project of Spanish producer Marc Martinez Nadal, launched in 2008. He is also the founder of the Sincopat label and has a career marked by consistent evolution in electronic music, with releases on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Pets Recordings, and Renaissance. His new EP, Bodypa, will be released by Polaris on August 9th, featuring two tracks that start from Indie Dance and incorporate elements of Progressive House and Techno. In partnership with the artist and the label, we present the premiere of the title track, noted for its aggressive dancefloor construction and raw elements, including a striking vocal cut.

Amir Telem has continued to delight fans with his unique take on electronic music. Amir’s capacity for storytelling using sound design – both comforting and challenging, equally adept at creating deep, organic or progressive house and techno. Amir’s production’s are often borderless, appealing to a broad range of DJs and in turn finding a place on the world’s largest dance floors.

The release is completed with a remix by the spanish Integral Bread, who uses a lot of original elements, but re-building them to make a club oriented Progressive House version of 'The Dream Emulator', with his typical arps, hypnotic seqs, fat basses, and strong and energetic percusions.
