The creation of this track started with some tribal vocal samples we’ve been wanting to work on for a long time. As we usually do, we mixed some acoustic elements such as bells and Rhodes keyboards with powerful synthesizers, giving the vocals a new context to evolve in. Overall, "Tokai" is a dreamy and chill track that will give you some summer vibes.

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhains best and most loved restaurants, is just around the corner. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. 

Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Pairing striking award-winning interior design with a homely laid-back atmosphere, Schneeweiss welcomes everyone with open arms: Kiez locals and celebrities, students and businessmen, hipsters and families all can be found here, Oliver Koletzki among them. I put together a mix to listen to whilst driving, waiting at gates, or just to get hyped for this year’s burn : )

This mix isn't what I set out to mix, but sometimes the story tells itself. This is an emotional journey telling the story of a long night spent wandering deep playa. You know how it goes, right?

First comes the excitement; the anticipation of the journey. It’s magical! I’m ready! let’s go! Think of all the wonderful and weird things afoot!

So you boot up; fill your packs; gather proper playa supplies. And you set out! You bike through the city and towards the man.. it's a magical adventure. Oh look, there’s Hardly’s! Shit looks weird. Awesome! Hey dude on your bike, watch out! Okay cool I see the man! Let’s head for the temple! Okay which way now? Let’s go right!!

Wow it’s dark. i think i see something out there, let’s keep going! OMG it’s a fire breathing ice cream cart! sweet! oh wait i’m not hungry. Ok, let’s keep biking, I think I hear music. Yes a random art car... let’s dance! This is fun! It’s just what i was looking for! Actually this is a little weird, everyone is moving but is anyone really dancing.. let’s hang for a bit. Uh, this is kinda dark. Do i like it? Yes i do. Wait no, i don’t. Ok let’s keep biking i gotta find what i’m looking for! I don’t know what i’m looking for!

Ahh, it’s out here somewhere.. we just gotta keep going. Let’s go, there’s something up ahead. Yes! Oh wait., it’s the trash fence. There’s no one here.. we’re all alone. this isn’t what i’m looking for. Will i find it? why did we go this way? I don’t think i’ll find it! no, i can’t waste this night...

Ok.. this is.. ok? What’s that? Who's there? Do i want a hug??? Uh, Yes I do! Sure dude in a dinosaur onesie! Oh man, thank you. i needed that. This is magical! Ok let’s go!

Another art car.. oh, it’s vibing. Let’s dance. Yes! This is great! I’m floating! Look at all those smiles! OMG this is it! This is what i was looking for! The sky! Is it turning purple? Wow is it almost morning? Look the sun! It’s rising! Everyone is still smiling! Omg that heat from the sun’s first rays! Yes! This is my home; this is where i belong. How did i ever doubt that? 

That’s right.. this my home. It’s where I dance. I love it here. Let’s do it again tomorrow 💜
