On Wednesday October 18th, 2017 Jask (@jask-thaisoul) and I were getting ready to attend the last show Depeche Mode was performing at the Hollywood Bowl on their 4 night sold out concerts at this iconic venue.

We are both big fans of this legendary band and we both have lots of edits and bootlegs of their classic tracks so we decide to pre-game before the show not by doing tequila shots but instead by recording and impromptu B2B set of some of our favorite tracks from DM. Hence the name of the mix.

If you attended the show in Los Angeles on Wednesday you will recognize some of the sound bites that I recorded on my phone :)

We hope you enjoy this set as much as we did recording it. If you know any DM fans please share with them as they will get a new take on some of these classic songs.

Dans la famille Challe, la musique est une histoire de famille . Après Claude (Bains Douches, le Buddha bar, le salon etc Nirvana ...) le plus jeune, Jean-Marc, on parle beaucoup dans le monde DJ.

Après avoir été le DJ officiel du Nirvana Lounge à Paris, il a été demandé d'effectuer dans les endroits les plus chauds dans le monde. Sorti en 2003, sa première compilation "Nirvana Lounge 3" produit en collaboration avec Claude Challe a été vendu à plus de 50 000 exemplaires. En mai 2004, sa deuxième compilation "Happiness" toujours co-produit avec son frère Claude Challe. Durant la même année, Jean-Marc a été choisi par le réseau de télévision Arte pour mixer de la musique pendant le Festival de Cannes. Il participe à l’abum « Emmanuelle » et au "Best Of"  de Claude.

Aujourd'hui, après avoir été le DJ officiel dans un club de Londres pour un an, il prépare son nouvel Opus qui sortira  à l'été 2006. "Just Good Music" Un beau voyage, exotique et éclectique.

Pour l'été 2007, Jean-Marc se lance dans un nouvel univers musical en effectuant une compilation étonnante, "Spacesex"" sorti en mai, pour le   3,14 surprenant hôtel de Cannes, où il sera résident tous les week-ends torrides d'août et Juillet.

Au printemps 2008, Jean-Marc est DJ résident dans le célèbre  restaurant "El Yacout " à Milan. Le 19 mai 2008, Jean-Marc et son frère Claude sort  une nouvelle compilation entièrement éclectique et original appelé "Select 2008 Music For Our Friends".

Après les voyage à travers le monde, Jean-Marc et Claude retourne en studio pour préparer une belle sélection  pour la compilation de l'année appelée "SELECT 2009 Music For Our Friends"

Au printemps 2010, Jean-Marc CHALLE  fait l'ouverture de l'hôtel "La Renaissance" à Marrakech et a été le DJ résident durant un mois. Il a fait un programme spécial pour  Virgin Radio Turquie qui est diffusée chaque semaine pendant un an, Son nouvel album "SELECT 2010 Music For Our Friends » avec son frère Claude Challe sort  le 7 Juin 2010

Sa passion pour le cinema l'a conduit à donner naissance à "Music for Movies» en mai 2011 . Une compilation de bande original de film revisité

En Octobre 2011, il  fait l'ouverture  et il réside un mois dans le nouveau restaurant  son frère Claude le  "Djellabar" à  Marrakech et sort dans les bacs de nouveau en collaboration de son frère "Select 4 Music For Our  Friends" (Select 2011)

Pendant l’hiver 2011 il participe au  « Best Of   II » de Claude qui est dans les bacs depuis le 16 Avril 2012

Il vient de terminer toujours avec Claude  « Select 5  Music For Our Friends »  (Select 2012) , qui sera dans les bacs le 4 juin 2012

Et pour la rentrée 2012 , il prépare toujours avec son  frère   l’album  « Djellabar » le nouveau restaurant de Claude à Marrakech.
