Berlin’s J Choirboy debuts on Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Mammoth’ EP, landing 17th October 2025. The title track taps into the sort of big, muscular club tools that defined Rekids label head Radio Slave’s early career, with fizzing chords hanging above booming kicks and a constant tension built to dominate dance floors. ‘Loam’ is just as heavy, this time with bright chords bouncing oﬀ gritty, rolling drums for full-body workouts in the club. ‘Stacco’ sinks into grainy territory with static-charged synths and a swinging kick, perfect for warm-ups or 5 a.m. hypnosis. Closing cut ‘The Miller’ layers liquid chords and perfectly syncopated drums into a vast wall of warm, enveloping Dub.

Rooted in choral traditions but driven by a love for Techno and early rave, J Choirboy channels both musical depth and raw energy into his productions. Now based in Berlin, he has previously released on La Mission, now returning with a strong debut for RSPX via the ‘Mammoth’ EP, which has already won support from the likes of DJ Rolando, Elisa Bee, and Truncate.

Following on from 2024's "Distant Landscapes EP" alongside Tensal, Amorphic returns (solo this time) to James Ruskin's Blueprint Records with a new ten-track album released digitally and as two four-track vinyl EPs released simultaneously.

Amorphic is a pseudonym of Scottish artist Vince Watson to explore more raw and hypnotic signatures. Launched in 2022, Amorphic has featured on labels such as Token, Symbolism and Modularz as well as the two labels Vince runs himself: Amorphic and Morph.

With almost 30 years in the industry, Vince has released over 1000 tracks, which has allowed him to work and gig with some of the very best in that time including Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig and in this year, Vince will release an LP with Carl Cox on his label Awesome Soundwave. As a touring musician has been able to play at some of the world's best clubs as both Amorphic and Vince Watson, including a residency at Tresor Berlin, DC10 Ibiza with Carl Cox, Berghain and Womb Tokyo as well as being a current resident of 909 Festival in Amsterdam.

Channeling inventive sound design into incisive, characterful techno variations, Jurango returns to Livity Sound with an eight-track double EP — his longest release to date. Taíno Gold captures a moment in time for Bristol-based Nate Reece's continually evolving sound as it draws on the full spectrum of UK club music. 

Following a debut for Livity's reverse label in 2021 and last year's An Amorphous Mass EP, Reece is more assured than ever tackling a variety of club-focused cuts. The tracks on the release all came together before, during and after a two-month visit to Reece's grandparents' home — an idyllic tropical environment in a small community at the top of a hill in the northern part of Jamaica. 

Taíno Gold refers to the island's indigenous Taíno community and the legend of a witch luring Spanish settlers into a trap on the Martha Brae river. There are no messages explicitly embedded in the music, but the release is both a personal reflection of Reece's own experiences and family heritage, plus a reminder about the enduring sceptre of colonialism and the continued need to fight against it. From absorbing Jamaica's fraught history through museum and plantation visits to the abundant nature in the garden surrounding his grandparent's house, the double EP marks a place in time for Reece, with eight advanced, ear-catching tracks as the end result.

From the cascading arps of 'Black Torches' to the tunnelling chords of 'Waiting For Trelawny', the melodic dimension of the Jurango sound is more confident than ever. 'Hibiscus' is a shimmering celebration of dub techno and crooked drum pressure and 'Chalk On Trees' basks in aqueous, fathoms-deep pads to close out the EP. Elsewhere, Reece brings new textural and tonal detail to his percussive workouts, splashing acidic noise around the angular experimentation of 'Maybe It's Broken' and firing off double-time rhythms to inject 'Double Sevens' with infectious urgency. 

With the space afforded by a longer release, Reece widens out the scope of his artistic identity while absorbing the particular scene and setting that surrounded him while making the tracks. Taíno Gold is a vibrant next step for Jurango and a natural continuation of his work with Livity Sound.

For Liberta’s 65th release, I return with a 4-track EP that continues to blend personal roots with club-focused energy. Samba Part II picks up where its predecessor left off, channelling the vibrant rhythms and carnival spirit of Rio de Janeiro into a fresh new form. Mosquitoes brings hypnotic tension with sharp percussion and rolling grooves, while Silk Road dives into a trippy atmosphere driven by acid-infused synth lines. Closing the EP, Thirsty Trap works as a relentless roller, built around classic loopy stabs that keep the energy locked in motion.

Together, the four tracks showcase different shades of my productions, tied by a focus on movement, intensity, and dancefloor connection.

Berlin musician and DJ Nastia Reigel (@nastiareigel) presents her debut solo album, Identity, out September 26th on Function’s legendary Infrastructure New York imprint.

Following a constant output of EPs on heavy-hitting techno labels like fabric, Rødhåd’s WSNWG and Token, and playing regularly at the likes of Berghain, Reigel now returns with new music that pushes deep into the core of her craft. She has honed and sharpened her sound into something sleeker and more uninhibited. She channels the classic roots of techno, yet hits a deeper emotional resonance, embedding her personal feelings and experiences within the sound.

“Identity is a crystallization of my sound — both as a producer and as a DJ”, she elaborates. “Created with the dancefloor in mind, these tracks carry the weight of sonic influences I’ve absorbed over time, yet come together into something personal — a reflection of how I hear techno, how I approach production, and what DJing means to me.”

Last fall when she crossed paths with Function (Dave Sumner), the mutual admiration was instantaneous and they developed a reciprocal appreciation for each other's creative output. Upon hearing the immediacy of her demos, Sumner didn’t just want a 12-inch; he proposed to work on a full-length Identity. The result now serves as solid evidence that she’s intentionally pushing the label forward into new places.

It’s no surprise that Sandwell District championed the album early on — nearly every track showed up in their DJ mixes and podcasts, marking Nastia Reigel as a new favorite artist of techno’s most influential collective.

Identity embodies the core of Nastia’s production DNA, showcasing her as a powerful and precise engineer. Beyond being a radiant and visionary artist, Nastia is a skilled producer at the top of her game, having worked on the album’s mixdown by herself. These eight new tracks all offer something distinct and carry her unmistakable signature. Refusing to follow trends, she carves out her own timeless path. Her sound is functional yet emotionally charged, aimed at adapting to the night’s shifting energy. Much like human identity itself, the album explores contrasting layers of tension, groove and mood, oscillating from hypnotic rollers to peak time intensity with ease. It is both a personal artistic statement and a DJ-ready toolkit.

Alongside her dancefloor output, Reigel works on her post-punk alias Rosa Damask. Critically acclaimed, her last album on Regis’s seminal label Downwards culminated in her track ‘Bored’ soundtracking Versace’s FW25 runway in Milan. Her live set at Morphine Raum became a viral impact amassing above 200k views in a month – no promo, just pure, unfiltered love for music. Discovered organically by fans and spontaneously growing since.

Nastia’s ability to translate the music's hypnotic energy into visual language comes through in the video for End Up Here, the first single of the album. Pulsating strobes, shadowy close-ups, and raw emotional release mirror the track’s haunting vocal textures and driving rhythm. It distills the very essence of the club night, where body and sound move as one. “I aimed to blend the sonic and visual experience of being on the dancefloor," she explains, "to dissolve into the sound, become part of it, and let it carry you."
