Starting from a wonderful text, I tried to put a bit of melody, interspersed with vocal musical notes, a rhythm that changes over time, while remaining fundamentally the same and true to its meaning: if you feel out of place, it's hard for everything to fall into place, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a real problem, while it's certain it's a point of view that can take you higher.

A partire da un testo stupendo, ho provato a mettere un po di melodia, intervallando con note musicali vocali, un ritmo che cambia nel tempo, rimanendo di fondo uguale a se stesso e al suo significato: se ti senti fuori posto è difficile che tutto torni in ordine, ma non è detto che ciò rappresenti per forza un vero problema, mentre è sicuro che sia un punto di vista che può portarti più in alto.

I composed "Soulful Season" for the Christmas Holidays with the rich sound of multiple synths, analog and wavetable.  The accompanying chorus is produced using original Mellotron chorus samples from the "Squids Tron Collection".
Of course I gave the piece a touch of my soundspace special recipe for the holidays!
This track is included in the "Soulful Season" album that has been released.

The song is about a criminal guy who escapes justice. He has gone there once but does not want to be taken again. There is also a video on our YouTube-channel, link in bio.

Burn Out

Driven by samples and live mixed by me who barely understand the concept of sampling, although I am trained in live mixing. I usually play everythig myself (my band members back in the 1980ies have kind of disappeared as I moved around a bit, but all counted more than 12 musicians have at one time or another played in Badtripp. I do guitars and bass, some singing, produce the thing and even add keyboards some few places. Many people would say that I really should not make music this way, or any way. But you know, I just have to make music. Learn to live with my weird habits!
