Interview:

Wie und wann bist du zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Wahrscheinlich steckte das schon immer in mir. Schon als junges Mädchen saß ich jeden Samstagabend vor dem Radio und verfolgte die Radioshow mit den neuesten Electro Tracks der 90er Jahre. Danach gab es eine längere Electro Pause und ich bin über verschiedenste Genres ein paar Jahren später über meinen kleinen Bruder wieder bei der Elektronischen Musik angekommen. Als ich dann noch kurze Zeit darauf mit dem Auflegen begonnen habe und die ersten Gigs folgten gab es kein Zurück mehr.

Welche Musikalischen Momente sind dir besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?
Sicherlich die Gigs an besonderen Orten oder mit einem besonderen Publikum, da gibt es viel zu viele um jetzt einzelne Momente im Speziellen herauszupicken. Auch möchte ich die genialen Momente im Tonstudio oder daheim mit Freunden beim Musik produzieren hervorheben, in denen man komplett im Flow ist und die Zeit und alles um sich herum vergisst.

Wo konnte man dich bisher antreffen?
In meiner aktuellen Heimat München habe ich schon viele Clubs, wie z.B. das Harry Klein, Bob Beaman, Pathos und Tante Erna und Festivals wie das Isle of Summer bespielt. Darüber hinaus hat es mich schon nach Berlin, Amsterdam, die Schweiz und Österreich und viele größere Festivals wie das Feel Festival oder Simsalaboom Festival verschlagen. Ganz besonders am Herzen liegen mir aber die kleinen (privat organisierten) Festivals wie z.B. das Von Freunden für Freunde Festival in der Nähe von Nürnberg.

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?
Einfach so weiter machen und demnächst vielleicht mal eigene Releases hervorbringen wäre schön.

This is a general rehearsal of my live set at Connect! Festival 2018, it differs a bit from the actual set. This was an amazing event! So many good people and good vibes! Was definitely an event I will always remember in my mind and heart <3 I want to thank all the organizers and producers who made this event come to life! Thank you! And a big thanks to everyone who came to see me play and dance with me! It really felt like a big family!

3 QUESTIONS to VAMOS ART:

Q: How did you guys meet and what was the motor doing electronic music together?

A: We got to know each other early in childhood during drum lessons. Later we met again at the same parties we attended and where we played music together. The motor doing electronic music is until today the love for the music and especially electronic music like Techno.

Q: Talking about your mix: What do these tracks especially mean to you?

A: We combine the tracks in our mix with cool club evenings and wild after parties. They have always accompanied us and laid the foundation for which music we particularly like today and how we build our DJ sets.

Q: Which future projects are coming later this year?

A: We are currently working on new tracks in our studio that will be released this year. We are looking forward to our next gigs in Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg. We also can’t wait to play at some great festivals this summer. Stay tuned!

Lately did enthusiasts of emotional and driving techno wonder how such a new youngster was destroying the dance floor. No matter if it was at Sonnemondsternefestival or Katermukke Label Nights 2017 and 2018 in Hamburg as well as Cologne. Every time it has been a so and emotionally outstanding, that checking the line up was an obligatory move to make. And then it always said: LEVT.
You can already tell, that he is one of the most uprising stars of his generation. But no wonder, since the young DJ and producer grew up surrounded by electronic music. Early inspirational influences have been Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. These were followed by the music universe of Katermukke. Since he has been 16 years old he spent every free second at the turntables to refine his sound.
Still on the side there was high school to be finished and juniors A-league football not to be neglected. But it turned out his heart is beating with and for the music so there was no other option than throwing himself into producing his own music. The result is his first EP “The Beast”, which is released on Voltage Records. As the name already announces does it present his sheer powerful and furious side. In addition does a Remix by Felix Kröcher underline the
promising nature of his productions. With this EP does LEVT already start to fight against the thinking, that the youth is only dedicated to rap and techno got a recruitment problem. Since this could be the beginning of something big.
