this track's a really special one. apart from it being my first solo release in 2 years, this track also celebrates my 10th year in music, and my 6th year with my girlfriend. i did a full 180 on this one and tried to express myself as much as i can, in a way where everyone would understand (something that beats alone wouldn't be able to achieve) this is the first single of my upcoming album titled 'by your side' which is coming up sooner than you think

This record’s about the struggles of an artist in their search for inspiration during their really intense creative rut. This artist tries everything to bring it back, only to end up back in the same place and repeating the cycle. In the end, the artist turns introspective and asks themselves “what keeps you burning?”. After escaping the creative rut, this struggle ironically was able to become a song in itself.

no samples, full vocals, same gny sound. this album was 3 years in the making, and i'm quite happy with how it turned out. i know it's quite different from everything else i've released so far, but let me tell you that putting these songs together has been the most spiritual experience in my whole career. i feel like i really found myself artistically in this record, and i truly hope that you guys enjoy it.

hall of mirrors is a short collection of my first beats, and since i came from my electronic music project Technicalia, I had to manifest my conceptual hunger into this EP. this tape is my response to everyone who disregards sampling as an artform. each of these beats samples 5 different artists who created their own version of the same song. my thought when creating this project was: these jazz artists can create their own version of a song, why can’t beatmakers do too? collectively, the titles of the beats create one sentence explaining the reinvention of this music in the hip-hop approach, and the tape’s titled /hall of mirrors/ since it is looking into different reflections of the same thing. i hope you all spend just a little time to listen to this EP that i’ve been holding close to my heart for a while now, and i hope my statement reaches every person out there who still have prejudices in sampling as an art.

you’re different now is my last beat tape, made for me and solely for me. it tells the story of myself as a musician and my relationship with my own workspace, and the struggle to find what and who my music is made for (this whole breakdown phase happened almost exactly a year ago).

this is a story of how i turned my prison to a palace (along with the help of some of my closest friends thank you). i hope you enjoy listening to my project as much as i enjoyed crying while making it
