red love is my new single, written with greg aram and my longtime friend and collaborator remy gautreau. it was one of the first songs i wrote in my new apartment in queens since i moved here a few months ago - i feel that changes in my life, especially location, always reflect in my music. my last release was my ep, etiquette, and that was written during my time living in california which even though it was less than a year ago was a totally different time in my life. red love presents a new perspective and interpretation of where my personal life is at for the top of 2019- and also presents a new sound as far as my songs go. greg and remy did an amazing job of bringing this one to life with me and im so excited to present my first single of the year.

“Puya Raimondii” is named after the Peruvian plant, “Queen of the Andes”. It takes around 8-10 years to bloom & I thought it’d be a good representation for this tune. I’ve been continuously writing it for over 3 years. It's a short, but intricate song that is packed full with strings, synths, bass, and harmonies. I kept applying everything I’ve learned throughout my time producing in this song.

It’s hard to accurately explain how much Wishes means to me. In my brain it has always been my favorite song and the song to beat. I’ve easily listened to it hundreds of times on road trips, alone in my room, and together with friends.
