Sultan + Shepard - Losing Ground with Tishmal

First mix of the year! I tired to do it a little different this time around. I wanted to make something that filled a need. It sometimes feels like I'm hitting a wall when looking for music and it's made me want to try to "make" my own in some way or another. Hopefully that leads to something productive in the realm of creative expression.

I was feelin' the combination of the pad, these vocal samples from Martin Luther King and the Shining Soul track from Reezer & Mega. I did this live with no production tools.

That last mix of 2023 (I know it's 2024). I've been busy with DJing at the club and busy with home life which has reduced how many mixes I can make, but the hope is always quality mixes. This one I've spent a lot of time on making right (still don't know if I think it's 100) and it's been pretty satisfying to see how people react to it when its played live. It def gets people moving. I hope you enjoy it!

This one I spent a lot of time on. I hope you like it. The idea behind it is a journey. It's meant for taking you from one place to another; that is what it did for me. Very enjoyable. This mix is also all on stem files using stem levels for mixing. Get ready for storytelling through sound and transition.
