Our live set recorded as recorded at Suti Festival this summer in Portugal! Was honestly one of our favorite festivals and also favorite sets of the summer! Fun little story, we had to watch tutorial videos in back of the stage before our set, because it was our first time playing live on the DJM-V10. What a beast! We had a blast playing live across all six channels :D.

Digital Diamonds presents NICORUS. Born next to Toulouse, a city that is a living cultural scene fed by the Ecole de Beaux-Arts based there, Nicorus got in touch with alternative sounds that dominated the city early on, before electronic music arrived to be the defining style. He soon began to spin records and dug deep into electronic music, presenting his discoveries to an ever-growing dancefoor. He then moved to Berlin to further develop his electronic soundscapes, where he became a resident DJ at the well-known Berlin clubs, including Keller. Also, he started a career as producer that resulted in numerous releases and remixes. About this set, he says: ""This summer, some friends asked me to play some psy-techno for their birthday and I rediscovered my love for this genre:) Thanks to them, I've started producing and going further in this direction, even though I'm not really stuck on one genre. I would describe myself more as a multi-faceted DJ, which comes across a bit in this mix, partially used for that friend's birthday party. For me, nothing is pure psy trance, techno or even deep house, I like to navigate between genres. Like on the dancefloor, I get bored of listening to the same genre in a longer set. I need to surprise and be surprised."

After a year of silence, we are extremely excited to welcome the Hybrid project onboard our beloved podcast series. Hailing an hour liveset from the motherland of Australia.

Ben is Australia based, having transitioned from a heavy metal musical background. His journey has evolved, being extremely inspiring for sound enthusiasts from all over the world. His forward thinking sound design and cultivating grooves allow for a pristine sonic journey like no other.

Hybrid is the mechanical and dark progressive enigma by Ben Watts. Musical project amalgamated by industrial, experimental bush progressive and organic melodies. Plenty appearances with Australian sound enthusiast Ambler, having released his iconic 'Depth Perception' on Zenon Records with more exciting follow-ups we all anticipate.

Having toured all over Australia sharing his intertwined industrial elements with organic atmospheres and showcasing a driving progressive performance on the dancefloor to remember. Please enjoy this exclusive live performance, by Hybrid!

It was so special to return to the main floor of UP playing a techno set on 31/12 in an animal sequence! Without a doubt my favourite main floor line up in the last 12 years that I've been part of this dream festival that never ceases to amaze me, it was incredible!!!! And this time in front of the sea... 
Thanks to several artists, to Luis M for sharing his music with me and make such great music, I'm a super fan!!!! To my brother Julian Double cheese for the track I started the set with, to Carbon for the pleasure of playing one of his favs when he was on the back stage, to Bensaid partner of Padang Records and one of the headliners of Arkana Festival this year (I played two of his tracks, one of my favs) and last but not least, the Final track, from the new label of the master Breger: Kafka Tempo ... a jewel that I thought was perfect to end this set that I will always remember with great affection. Off course, thanx to all the crowd that was dancing full power!!!

Jeez Us est un Dj/Producer du Québec originaire de Trois-Rivières. Dj résident chez Alpaka Muzik, il est 
spécialisé dans plusieurs genres musicaux tels que la Techno Minimal, la Techno Psychédélique, la Trance Psychédélique, et même des style tels que Organic House . Melodic House et Ambient Chill Out!
Son projet a pour but de donner à ses auditeurs des sensations auditives et vibratoires orgasmiques (let's Jeez Us!), en les emmenant dans de longs voyages progressifs et énergiques !  

Maîtrisant l’art de certaines techniques comme le Looping, le Fx control et le sampling, il offre une expérience à son image, créant des moments de dance uniques à chaque performance ! 
En 9 ans, il fût l’invité d’évènements d’envergure de la scène psy / techno, comme le Futur Forest, Groove'N'Bass, Element Festival, ArtikFest, Soundwaves, Era Festival et de plusieurs soirées Électronique underground en région Québec/Montréal.

Jeez Us se dédie également à la conception d’évènements au sein du collectif Third Frequency à Trois-Rivières. Avec amour, passion et simplicité, il partage sa vision de l’art avec son entourage, connecte les gens en leur faisant vivre une aventure haute en émotions et ouvre de nouvelles facettes de l’expérience musicale!

Jeez Us is a Dj/Producer from Quebec located in Trois-Rivières. Now resident DJ at Alpaka Muzik, he is specialized in several musical genres such as Minimal Techno, Psychedelic Techno, Psychedelic Trance, and even Organic and Ambient. 
His project aims to give listeners orgasmic auditory and vibratory sensations (let's Jeez Us!), taking them on a great
 progressive and energetic journeys!  

Mastering the art of certain techniques like Looping, Fx control and sampling,
 he offers an experience of his own, creating unique dance moments in each performance! 
In 9 years, he has been a guest at major events in the psy / techno scene, such as Futur Forest, Groove'N'Bass, Element Festival, ArtikFest, Soundwaves, Era Festival  and other electronic underground parties in Quebec/Montreal
