Perdoname

Here is a song I wrote and recorded about 28 years ago about my first big love. Despite the painful circumstances at the time - I actually really like this song. There is a pureness and innocence and its definitely heartfelt. 
I guess we all remember our first love. 

The First Time

This song was written in 1989 and it was about the impending Persian Gulf War before any troops had been deployed. 
We wanted it to sound like troops marching in for battle and from a songwriting stance my thought was what if Don Henley and Richard Marx got together and wrote a song about the Persian Gulf War.  Maybe it would sound something like this. Lyrically I think it does stand on its own. Vocally, well its close but I'm not Richard Marx.
