Acid Head

Delia is a traditional blues murder ballad that has been memorably recorded by a few well known artists, like Bob Dylan, Blind Willie McTell and David Bromberg. My version is heavily inspired by the mournful version recorded by Bromberg in 1971. I have added a couple of new touches in this version. 

I recorded and produced all elements, with key performances on electric guitar, harmonica and vocals, including playing the role of jury foreman and the judge. 

This is one track in a larger project I’m hoping to complete in the coming months, focused on blues tunes that mostly lives on the fringes of the genre but still reverent to it.

A quick production of a stoner style, doomy, blues-rock. Multi-tracking guitar is really the key! Makes for a much bigger sound.  The vocals are probably too dang loud.
