The hook is just pure energy, AL backed me up in the studio to give the hook some depth. I actually played electric guitar for a track also during the hook. What can I say, I took a bunch of crazy stories that happened to me in the past, and turned it into a song. There started to become a buildup of crazy stories from the past. When I was a drunk I used to just keep repeating them to the same people so what better way to clean up the mess. Just pick out some of the best ones (I should actually say worse) the classics, switch my brain over into "rhyme mode" and watch the bars connect. That noise in the beginning is for real motherfuckers, not for freshmen. If you never figured it out, it's a smoke from the movie Pulp Fiction. When Uma Thurmans character goes into the bathroom at Jack Rabbit Slims, the scent fades out on John Travolta face (as 'Vince Vega tries to figure out "why the hell did I just order a Burger and a Milkshake cause I just shot a bundle of heroin not 40 minutes earlier...cause nothing says "munchies" like shooting a 10 bags of 90% pure Afghani dope. Anyways as the scene fades out, you hear the sound of Mia Wallace doing what sounds like the biggest bump of cocaine anyones ever done, and she says "I said GOD DAMN!!!..God Damn. And were off to the races. The stories move a bit fast in the song cause I had a considerable time crunch. You try squeezing 12 years of complete insanity into 3 verses it's not as easy as it seems. Trust me. Anyways, just listen to the track it's a good one.

Just met my homeboy Chunky out in Staten Island, and we hit up his boys studio. I just randomly picked this fire beat cause I was amped and this beat went along with how I was feeling. Neither one of us had anything written, no books, just a couple of heads full of nasty rhymes....and we killed this track. That's the story of Rumble in the swamp.
