This is a song about when I first started looking for my birth mother Madeleine Dugas. I have since found and met her. The journey continues to unfold. I (Jeff Liberty) wrote the lyrics and Melody. Dann Downes wrote the music and played guitar. Produced by Grant Heckman in Saint John, NB a few years back. I was particularly inspired by the sound of Johnny Cash (Rick Rubin Prod. era) and the Magnetic Fields (69 Love Songs) on this recording.
