I wrote this song like four or five years ago? Trying to practice singing.

Something about the space between
The blankets on your bed
Something about the way we feel
When we see the color red
Something about somebody
Who sometimes acted like someone
There must be something in the air that's keeping me
From getting anything done

I'd like to take it easy
But there's so much stuff to do
I'll blame it on the weather
I'll blame it on you

It's too damn cold to wake up
I roll over and close my eyes
Like some kind of cold-blooded reptile
Curl up and stay inside
Or it's too damn hot
To stay standing
I could shrivel up and die
In a puddle of perspiration
Beneath a blisteringly pretty blue sky

I feel a bit distracted
I think I'll drink a cup of tea
I'll blame it on the weather
I'll blame it on me
