This is a set of five keyboard based gentle dronal works written in March and April of 2020 while NYC was under quarantine for Covid-19. It is intended to be calming and meditational.  The 5 pieces total 40 minutes, a reference to Quarenta or the 40 days required for ships to wait offshore during the plague in 14th century Europe.

Quarandrones

These are four pieces for improvised guitar played in live time with multiple layers of loops. They were meditations for me as I played them and now for you as you listen. The titles are descriptive, if abstract.

I'm a long time musician and school teacher from NYC.  I've evolved my sound over the past few years toward the world of ambient music. I tend to create longer pieces using guitars, drums, keys, and other instruments.  They are good for meditation, working, relaxing, napping, cooking, or whatever you find most important to do with your time.
