After a relentless 2013, German beatsmith, Thomas Gold, is ready to unleash his long-awaited single, 'Remember', arriving on October 28th via Axtone Records.

'Remember' is the long awaited Axtone follow up to the Beatport #1 reaching 'Sing 2 Me' as well as the 'Axtone Presents Thomas Gold' compilation. 'Remember' describes the story of a couple spending the night out and experiencing the beauty of the morning sunrise together. On it, arpeggiated violins soar beautifully into Kaleyn Behr's vocals, before gradually build up to a crescendo crammed with unrivalled elation and energy.

It's been an amazing run for the Berlin native, with his global radio show, Fanfare, churning out the best of Thomas' favourite tracks. He also saw his remix of 'Set Fire To The Rain' by globally renowned songstress, Adele, rack up over 15 million views. Thomas has also been working closely with both Otto Knows and Deniz Koyu for a set of upcoming projects.

Australian-born Kaelyn has landed several platinum records and major awards back home and he co-wrote the track. He also supplied the vocals to the Aston Shuffle vs Tommy Trash 'Sunrise (Won't Get Lost)' that became a ubiquitous presence internationally and had crowds chanting its euphoric topline. In addition to Sunrise and several high charting Australian releases, Kaelyn has appeared on major label releases from Wiley ('Tomorrow'), The Aston Shuffle ('Can't Stop Now') and the recent Hype Machine-topping collaboration with The Knocks and St Lucia, Modern Hearts. '

So, Habit's her song has been a major hit of the last year and has seen some interesting edits, but nothing in the dance genre. Habits is one of those unique blend of feelings, its gangster, sexy, relatable, and fun... In fact we aren't quite sure why its not on the same level as Lorde's Royals... So with that in mind, we set out to create a song that complimented the vocals and the subject of the song but brought it into the club arena. Its why we think her vocals always do so well with dance music. Holding onto Heaven was definitely a fun challenge for us to remix. The original is very far from a dance track and we wanted to think out of the box and do something unusual with the vocal. Additionally there were so many cinematic parts to the song to use particularly the string. In our remix you will here some vocal transposing that we think adds this very strange but unique edge that cuts through. That paired with our melody and the strong we think we came out with a very dynamic song thats in a constant flux of feeling."

Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.'  So here is how we did it:

Quickie from us: "So its really great when coincidences and fate find each other, because that is what happened… We absolutely were in love with this summer anthem by smallpools, it reeked of fresh cut grass and the afternoon sun... So when their ppl reached out to us about doing a remix it was the easiest decision ever. We can't say it wasn't a challenge though with such a strong vocal, but we really wanted to pin it up against the classic 'house music pluck' we have been hearing so much of, but use it in a vain that felt a bit different but still large, but finding that union was tough in the sense the two had to warm up to each other rather than clash... but in the end we think we found this great atmosphere for the song to exist."
