Well, it's been a while. The kids and the job and the yada yada. I gave myself a challenge to get something out by Halloween. I drew a a card from Eno's Oblique Strategy deck and it told me to indulge my worst tendencies. So kitschy and overproduced it is. I present Lady Gaga and Freddie Mercury starring in a Halloween radio play of David Bowie's Space Oddity.

The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll

For a wedding, I was asked to revive this song I wrote 10 years ago! I am so thankful that this song will now be part of R&E's story as well as M&S's story (at whose wedding I played it first). I changed the lyrics slightly, I hope that's ok - it feels like this song is not fully mine anymore after having taken its place in other people's lives! Who knows, I might officially release it one day...
