I wanted to create a dreamy sounding track using only two chords, this was the result.

The Gate of the Dreaming Cosmos is composed in 2018 by Gavin Kwok. 
He was inspired by the concept of Flammarion Engraving for the use in CGI Animated Short Film "Sputnik " by Maxim Zhestkov in BIFSC.

All things must pass.....even the enlightened state (Nirvana)...(not the band).....that feeling when a steady state starts to breakdown.

Wind ensemble tracks: Clarinet (5); Flute (4); Alto Sax (2); Tenor Sax (2); Soprano Sax (2); Oboe (2). 

0 - 1.49 min -  steady melodic A/B structure (few random elements appear)..
1.50....gradual descent into chaos on B section until 2.02 when soprano saxes steady it...but free elements gain ground
2.17 - section A with oboe holding it up...against some disintegrating chaos (panned).. 
2.32 - return of B section and the final comedown...oboes trying hard till the end.

That's the way i saw it anyhow.  [Try it with headphones if poss.]

All of my original songs are recorded at home on a 24 track Tascam DP-24. I perform all the instruments and vocals with the help of an Alesis drum machine. My biggest musical influences come from the classic rock era, but I like to experiment with different styles of music. I have always been deeply passionate about music since I was very young.
